Refund & Return Policy

At Vella Moda, we want you to love every piece you purchase. If something is not right, we are here to help.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Return requests must be submitted and the item must be shipped back within this 14-day period.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

Unworn, unwashed, and unused

Tags must remain attached in their original placement and may not be removed, altered, or reattached

Returned in original condition and original packaging when applicable

All returns are inspected once received.

How to Start a Return

All returns must be initiated through our returns portal at www.vellamoda.com/pages/returns-exchanges before sending any item back. Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Once your return request is approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label and instructions by email. The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund amount.

Customer Remorse Returns

We accept returns for eligible non-defective items within 14 days of delivery, including situations where an item does not fit, was ordered by mistake, or is no longer wanted.

Items must meet all eligibility requirements listed above and be returned by mail through our return process.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. A prepaid return label will be provided, and the cost of the return label will be deducted from the refund amount.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for customer remorse returns.

Return Shipping

Once your return is approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label for your convenience.

The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund.

This allows for a smooth and hassle-free return process.

Exchanges

If you need a different size or style, we recommend selecting an exchange when available. It is often the fastest way to get what you want.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement item is unavailable, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, any approved refund will be issued back to your original payment method.

Returns are typically inspected within 3–5 business days of receipt. Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for your bank or payment provider to post the refund.

Any applicable return shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged item, defective product, or an error on our part.

No restocking fee is charged on eligible returns.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before they are shipped. To request a cancellation, please contact us at support@vellamoda.com as soon as possible with your order number.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must go through the standard return process.

Final Sale Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

Clearance items

Worn, washed, or damaged items

Items returned without original tags

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@vellamoda.com.

To help us resolve the issue as quickly as possible, please include:

Your order number

A description of the issue

Clear photos of the item

Photos of any visible damage and packaging, when applicable

Claims are typically reviewed within 1–3 business days after all requested information has been received.

If the item is confirmed to be damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped, Vella Moda will provide a prepaid return shipping label when a return is required. Customers may choose between a replacement item, when available, or a full refund to the original payment method.

Once the issue is confirmed, we will process a full refund, store credit, or replacement within 5–7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Claims submitted more than 48 hours after delivery may not be eligible for replacement, exchange, or refund.

European Union Orders

If your order is shipped to an address within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification, provided items meet the eligibility requirements stated above.
